i’ve been working on some crocheted, needlefelted and hand stitched diva brooches … here’s one of them –

it is created from rusted and shellacked foam core, rusted papers, plant-dyed silk, found objects and stitch –

it’s amazing how good bunting looks in crochet with wool tassels … and the trees didn’t seem to mind either
these started as mushrooms but ended up becoming woodland jellyfish … when I yarnbombed the yard and took photos of them, my autumn and spring garlands got into the act as well
here are some garlands i made with tapestry wools found in a thrift shop by my daughter, plus yarn leftovers from my stash
one is made in autumn colours; the other four are made in spring colours
