i love making these – some would call them books or journals; however, folios is the name i’ve chosen for these two examples
please scroll down to see both both of them, plus a gallery of different views
folio: imagine (for sale – click here)
folio: abundance (not for sale)
gallery – including a couple of ‘in progress’ photos –
[found, new and/or rusted papers and cardboard; rusted and plant dyed silks; stitch; found objects; glue]
for sale – folio: imagine – click here
not for sale – folio: abundance
So cool! You really transformed the crinkled paper in the first folio. The texture reminded me of iridescent fish scales or amphibian skin.

Thank you very much – that particular piece of paper is kitchen paper towel, would you believe … =D

Beautiful. Do you ever use them to store art or photos or to write in or do you keep them as art objects?

One is for sale, so whoever buys it can use it to write/draw directly on the pages, or store art or photos, or whatever. The other one I did make specifically to store some of my small art. The thing is to use them however inspiration strikes! =D
