i thought i’d finished my little pocket book (after i added a decorative closure), but apparently not
as i looked at it, the cover’s lining seemed to need embellishment
after all, everything else has been layered and stitched and embellished, so why not the lining?
why not indeed …
so, in between other projects, I’m adding more stitching
thinking about a label for the blank space on the inside of the back cover, and more stitching inside the front
This is beautiful- soft colors and so much detailed embroidery work!

I started it about a month ago, and it’s a great hand stitching project to do on the couch while the TV is going in the evening! (I did the machine stitching during the day so each part would be ready for the embroidery later on.) Glad you like it! =D

Yes, that’s usually when I hand stitch too although now I spend way too much time checking out blogs and Pinterest on the iPad!

The business of art can take over actually doing it … but it’s such fun looking at the work of other artists and networking with them! =D
