in the last few weeks i’ve come up with 2 new lines:

granny drink coasters –

and granny garlands

this has nothing to do with my being a granny (which i am), but everything to do with the possibilities of the humble granny square …

a garland in progress –and the first in a second set of coasters with a picot edge

i was inspired by a previous post about crochet coasters to make some

great way to use up odd colours from my stash, especially leftovers from other projects

trying out different colour combos was fun

or just because

even tried a picot edging to add a touch of class to the humble granny square

now i can’t seem to stop …
