Yarnbombers unite!
Stitchedupmama has 6 accomplices so far, but would love some more … all you need to do is knit or crochet squares measuring 25 cm x 25 cm in any colour or pattern you like. Rectangles are OK too, but they must be 25 cm wide. Add ties on the corners and you’re done!
Any takers? We are planning to decorate a certain landmark in St. Marys, Tasmania. Should be fun!
Here are some of my yarnbombing pics from last year:
And this is a link to the event, Wrapped in St Marys, just in case you want to find out more!
I’m inspired! And, thanks for the tip of adding ties to the work. I’ve always headed out with a handful of darning needles, pre threaded……..and stitched my pieces on!
Love the garland on the tree!

Thanks! The landmark we’re doing is rather large, so I thought ties would make it easier. Glad you like the tree garland (a scarf that didn’t work out)! =D
