re:- my previous posts … yesterday i cut off the damaged bits of the orange trim
these are the salvaged sections, which i will attempt to re-attach today
this is how the trim looked before the wrap was stolen and damaged (the black ribbons on the front were also torn off)
and here are some new ties i found at our local op shop
making progress, i think!
found these lovely ideas just by googling blue crochet
queen anne’s lace pattern
pure wool (cleckheaton – ‘california’; 2 different colourways)
acrylic and mohair (moda vera – ‘jessica’)
covering up the holes in my ‘tied’ wrap after a failed attempt at inserting eyelets
ribbon loops and tiny crochet flowers (the flowers were hubbie’s suggestion)
when i first made this for the street art component of our wrapped in st marys event, it looked like this –
then i decided to add red flowers, so now it looks like this –
and guess what?
if roses are blue, does that mean violets are red?
