last night we attended the launch of the collaborative award and exhibition by the tasmanian quilting guild and the tasmanian museum and art gallery

it was beautifully displayed in the old bond store underneath the 150-year old museum and art gallery

it was such an honour and privilege to have my timelines quilt accepted as a finalist

congratulations to tasmanian textile artist sandra champion for winning the judges award and $3000 cash prize – her quilt just blew me away

runner-up was Kath Wilkinson from New South Wales
