I have finally caught up!

Pages 3 and 4 finished. Digital printing, transfer printing, eco dyeing, stencilling, upcycled scarf, tulle, vintage ribbon, buttons, 3D appliqué, free motion quilting, hand embroidery, machine stitched cords.

A continuing metamorphosis

Here is a 39-second video of my (un)spoken words triptych – this gives a bit of an idea of how it has morphed into an interactive artwork which is still in-progress. Boxes and books made from eco dyed 200 gsm art papers; I also used parts of an old book, vintage pattern tissue, and handwriting.

blue roses and …

when i first made this for the street art component of our wrapped in st marys event, it looked like this –roses are blue - stitchedupmama 2013

then i decided to add red flowers, so now it looks like this –Winner - Open category - Stitchedupmama, St Marys, Tasmania

and guess what?

it won!

if roses are blue, does that mean violets are red?
