the beanie pattern is called brainwaves and is designed by liz mcqueenbeanie for amaya - by rita summers 2013 you can download it for free here (includes both child and adult sizes) the ear warmer pattern can be purchased here from tiny tiptoes boutique, and is sized from newborn to adultheadband for amaya - by rita summers 2013 i’ve made the brainwaves beanie many time in various colour combination here they are again in case you missed them

as mentioned in a previous post, our group hands of love makes items to give away to those in need

my alter ego, stitchedupmama, got in on the act by making beanies

in fact, she got so carried away that she made some extra beanies for the alice springs beanie festival as well

just received information that this year’s beanie festival competition is now open for entries

i entered 3 beanies last year beanies - rita summers
they all went on the interstate beanie roadshow and are still ‘travelling’, except for one that sold (firebird)

so what will i make this year?

this year’s festival is over, but the beanies are going on the road, including 4 of mine
