My stall today.

The Stables Handmade Market, St Marys, Tasmania, Australia.

I am actually a page behind nearly everyone else …

Page 2 of my entry in our local fibre and textile book challenge. Digitally printed silk, pastel rubbings on transfer artist paper (ironed onto cotton), twisted and stitched cords, machine quilted, found buttons.

A short video.

Eco dyed and rusted vintage and upcycled linen doileys and a cotton cot sheet; also eco dyed brown paper. Mostly hand stitched. Size – A3 (my entry in a challenge on ‘making your mark’).

I have been very slack with my blog posts lately – mainly due to being so busy with my gallery and trying to be both an artist and run an arts business.

So I decided to share an image a day – should be quick and easy. Today is the first of what I hope will be a commitment I can keep!
