I have finally caught up!

Pages 3 and 4 finished. Digital printing, transfer printing, eco dyeing, stencilling, upcycled scarf, tulle, vintage ribbon, buttons, 3D appliqué, free motion quilting, hand embroidery, machine stitched cords.

Said goodbye to these today!

I finally got around to making 2 stitched and needle felted tags for a group challenge/swap.

One of them had to show negative space, which is why it has a square hole in it!

I had to send them to Hobart with a friend this afternoon, so I didn’t have them for long …

Made from eco dyed wool fabric, silk scraps, thread snippets and upcycled ribbon; machine quilted.

Free exhibition space and launch party

A great opportunity which I am making available to all fibre and textile artists.

To tempt you, here is a video of an exhibition which I hosted earlier in 2015. Enjoy!

Eco dyed textile art you can wear

Even though I was technically having a mini holiday, I managed to get two more cuffs completed! It never feels like work to me … again, they are entirely hand stitched, using my own eco dyed fabrics (wool, silk, cotton) and threads (linen, wool, cotton), plus upcycled buttons.
