in my last post i shared what i’d made to wrap a power pole for the wrapped in st marys event on 2 and 3 june

there were 4 categories;  i entered the textile art section, which had a prize of $300 plus a certificate

would you believe i won?!?

here are some photos of it on display over the weekend; if you look closely, you can see the stitching, and the beads i used to embellish the string ties
