‘Le Dress’

Now on display in my studio window (my studio is attached to the gallery). I eco dyed the silk for couturier Rudolf Ramseyer; dress commissioned for Miss Universe Australia entrant Stephanie King. Sponsored by Ruche Fabrics, Launceston.

Eco dyeing on the catwalk

I am thrilled to announce that the dress I eco dyed for Tasmanian Miss Universe Australia entrant Stephanie King, in collaboration with couturier Rudolf Ramseyer, is now on display in the window of my studio. There are 15 metres of silk in this, which was donated by Ruche Fabrics. A project that both challenged and excited me … Call in soon and see it for yourself! [Photography: Jarred Seng]

A Very Tasmanian Dress

I hope you enjoy this short video which documents the finished design of Stephanie King’s gown for the Miss Universe Australia 2016 event. It was created by couturier Rudolf Ramseyer from fabric I eco dyed at his request, supplied by Ruche Fabrics.

Drumroll please!

I’m very excited to be able to share this at last – it’s been so hard to keep the finished dress a secret …

Here is the much-anticipated reveal of the Miss Universe Australia dress made by couturier Rudolf Ramseyer, using fabric which I eco dyed at his request. I am absolutely thrilled with what he’s done with it, and how beautiful it looks worn by Tasmanian entrant Stephanie King. [Photos by Rudolf Ramseyer; silk chiffon from Ruche Fabrics]
