This is a metamorphic garment which can be worn either as a skirt or harem pants. Fabrics: eco dyed cotton; found wool and gaberdine remnants. Hand sewn hems and top stitching.
After a productive afternoon spent foraging on our land yesterday (see previous post), the eco dyeing is in full swing!
I background dyed this thrifted cashmere scarf first in some used dye, then layered it with leaves and wrapped and tied it around an iron spring. Steamed for 2 hours and unwrapped the next day.
