The series continues.

Couldn’t resist seeing how this cotton top looks on a mannequin! I love this combo with one of my eco dyed camis and a silk skirt, set off by a gorgeous necklace by Rosemary Harper.

Eco chic

Eco dyed upcycled cotton and lace jacket – some more of last Monday’s eco dyeing.

[Native cherry + copper dyepot; layered with eucalyptus leaves and ferns. Wrapped around an iron bar. Simmered for 5 hours (size – L).]

Eco dyed puff-sleeved bolero

Had some fun with this yesterday – new puff-sleeved bolero with raw edge piecing detail, made from my eco dyed cotton fabrics.

I have also made a mini video: (http://youtu.be/Rxe3B888X8o – don’t forget to turn on the sound).

An adaptation of a pattern from Shape Shape 2, by Natsuno Hawaira.

The perfect dress

Found the perfect dress to go with the embellished cardigan I shared the other day. Dress was taupe (nylon/spandex); now transformed with shades of soft citrus green, purple and black. Dye pot of wild cherry and alum in spring water; sprayed with a vinegar solution before layering with 3 kinds of eucalyptus and wrapping around an iron bar. Slow-cooked in a crockpot for 5 hours.
