fossil

i’ve been experimenting with some of my drawings

some of them have become fabric designs, and some might even become designs for wallpaper

this design, which I worked on today, was based on a drawing called fossil

earthsongs

for several years i’ve been making art on the theme of earthsongs

some of my rusted and mixed media artworks are in this series

i also did a series of 6 drawings on paper bags with earthsongs as the title

earthsongs 1 –

I hand stitched around the edge of each bag with black perle cotton

inside the bag is a piece of rusted paper with the words from the drawing written on it

this set is called keyholes – drawn on the back of old tasmanian frieght train tickets –

as you can see, these were drawn in 2009 – i only refound the images the other day …

secrets

i’ve been working on a visual journal since 2005 and revisit it at various times

it began as an old devotional book called secrets of a beautiful life, which I’ve retitled secrets

after 7 years i felt it might be time to share some of my journal pages …
