A red-letter day for Gone Rustic!

This afternoon the first consignment of my eco fashions was parcelled up and sent to Pinko Boheme boutique at Avalon Beach in Sydney, New South Wales. Thank you to husband Ian for taking this photo, and for Jodie’s invaluable assistance at St Marys Post Office!

It took me nearly all day to prepare and pack everything, but it was sooo worth it …

Let’s hope the Sydney-siders like my stuff and – better still – buy it!

City boutique wants my stuff!

I have just been approached via Etsy by a boutique fashion store in Sydney! I am staggered ….

Dear Rita,
Amazing store! Your silk garments are absolutely gorgeous!

I just wanted to reach out to see if you would be interested in selling your collection in my Sydney Boutique? I own PINKO BOHEME in Avalon Beach NSW and specialise in lifestyle labels from Byron Bay, Australia and the USA. The brands I carry include Arnhem Clothing, Free People, Camilla, Goddess of Babylon, Bird & Kite, Amuse Society and Kate Spade NY Giftware.

I also run an instore initiative whereby I support up & coming designers by showcasing their collections in store on a consignment basis. I have worked with NIZETI, Rosie & Minx, The Dreamer Label, Folksong, The Enchanted Life and LOVE HATE vs HERE on consignment and achieved amazing results! If you may be interested please be sure to reach out as it would be such a pleasure to showcase your range.

Much Love

These photos (and the one above) are a sneak peak at the latest additions to my eco dyed range:

Added some comfy leather seating to the gallery today! [6 photos]

Very happy with the result!

Yesterday I decided to turn part of the studio into a dedicated space for Gone Rustic Eco Fashions … here is a side view of the new studio window display.

Looking through the doorway from the gallery into the studio. Love my suitcase collection!

A vintage ladder and shabby chic clothes racks showcase the eco fashion range.

I bought this hanging torso mannequin as one of a pair on eBay.

A vintage French armagnac barrel and Australian bentwood chair enhance the window display, along with some retro chrome hat stands and antique wooden finials.
