A serendipitous find!

My Blue Label range is now well underway! I launched my eco fashions (upcycled retro and vintage) in May 2015; they feature the labels shown at left. My new range (entirely made by me) features the blue labels shown at right. I used them during the 80’s and 90’s for my children’s range of denim clothing of the same name, and rediscovered the leftovers in my storeroom just recently.

I had been wondering what to call the new eco fashion range – now I know!

Lots of unpicking!

I’m rather glad this is done! I did nearly as much unpicking as I did sewing. Worth it in the end …

This is a metamorphic garment which can be worn either as a skirt or harem pants. Fabrics: eco dyed cotton; found wool and gaberdine remnants. Hand sewn hems and top stitching.

The series continues.

Couldn’t resist seeing how this cotton top looks on a mannequin! I love this combo with one of my eco dyed camis and a silk skirt, set off by a gorgeous necklace by Rosemary Harper.

Eco dyed cotton remnants; vintage pattern Style 4043.
