A milestone moment

Finished! Here is a short video of my free cut Julian Roberts-style tunic, made from eco dyed cotton interlock and woven cotton. Fabric dyed beforehand; layered with 3 kinds of eucalyptus, blackberry, fire bush and blackwood leaves; wrapped around an iron bar and slow cooked in a crockpot of native cherry, copper and spring water for 5 hours.

Eco printing with ferns and gum leaves

A cotton/spandex top that I eco dyed last week (slow cooked in a crockpot of banksia leaves + alum with spring water; bracken fern and eucalyptus leaves between the layers). I will be listing this cute little top for sale soon in my online shop

I love dressing up the mannequins!

Eco dyed goodness on display at Gone Rustic yesterday. Closed for a few days now, but you can still shop online at www.gonerustic.com.

Bronze Age design

Recently @gonerustic I shared about a handbound book I made, which included an eco printed paper with added bronze stencilling. This has now also become the inspiration for a new fashion range called ‘bronze age’, available at http://shopvida.com/collections/voices/rita-summers
