the call went out from an online group i belong to, called cloth paper studio
participants were asked to make 4 pockets which would be sent off by a certain date
each of us would then receive 4 pockets in return, made by other group members
i really enjoyed making them – the first one is undyed, except for the teabag offcuts
it was made from a selection of brocades, silks, linen, cotton and damask
pocket 2 featured coloured silk fabrics and lace (upcycled)
pockets 3 + 4 were made from fabrics i’d altered with dye etc.
